How To Receive In Volleyball

- Volleyball, game played by two teams, usually of six players on a side, in which the players use their hands to bat a ball back and forth over a high net, trying to make the ball touch the court within the opponents’ playing area before it can be returned.
- Serve receiving in volleyball depends upon a proper beginning posture and correct footwork. Learn how to receive serves in this volleyball video tutorial.
- Usually top spin serves are easier to receive than say, a float serve. Because there is top spin on the ball, the serve will travel deeper and will not be able to change its course midair.
- In the first rotation, the Setter pulls 1 up to the right-hand corner. As soon as the server makes contact with the ball, the Setter should move to the setter's position, right-of-center on the net.
